FDA products and medications:

Dalcoma specialty pharmacy does not allow the return of any prescription medication or products. Dalcoma specialty pharmacy follows all federal laws and regulations when it comes to prescription products and their care, sale, and returns. Under federal law and regulations no prescription drug or product may be returned once the product/medication has been dispensed to the patient. This is done to ensure that the products dispensed to our patients maintain all integrity and purity guidelines. Once a product is dispensed to a patient, there is no way for the pharmacy to ensure the medications purity, integrity, and proper storage when out of the pharmacies control.

Compounded products and medications:

Dalcoma specialty pharmacy does not allow the return of any compounded medication once the medications fill or refill has been verbally confirmed by the patient or patients caregiver. This is regardless of the dispensing status of this medication. For compounded medications, the pharmacy staff requires a verbal confirmation to proceed in making a product. Once this verbal confirmation has occurred and the product has been rung up at the point of sale, it is non refundable. Compounded products are made for each individual patient and therefore cannot be reused or resold once made. Therefore, these products are non refundable once permission is given to the pharmacy to make the product regardless of dispensing status.
